Lost in the Mountains

On the dark side of the mountain

Where trouble can sneak up

Unexpectedly;

At the end of each yells for help

Your heart skips a beat

And you fall into darkness;

At the center of the unknown

We slip into the everlasting cold

Where we fight for the warmth

That seems so far away

We huddle next each other

To prevent the frostbite

From slipping into the warmth

Of our everlasting souls;

 all seems lost

Until we see the light in the dark

We slowly slip towards it until we realize

That is what we needed most
